Venice Biennale Ideas Competition
The orientation of the main exhibition space encourages movement through the site.
The Pavilion angles back to address the canal, creating a forecourt where the
fire gathering space is located. The ribbed steel structure peels away from the
ground to reveal two points of entry. The building cuts through the canal wall
and forms a deck area that connects the water and the bridge.
